Recep vedikis a 2009 Turkish comedy film, directed by Togan Gkbakar, which stars ahan Gkbakar as an oafish character who tries to find a job and a wife to please his ailing grandmother. The film, which went on nationwide general release across Turkey on Feb. 13, 2009, was the highest grossing Turkish film of 2009. The films titular comic character was created by ahan Gkbakar for his Turkish comedy television show Dikkat ahan kabilir, which ran from 2005 to 2006, and has subsequently gone on to feature in a series of sequel films starting with Recep vedik 2008, to which this is the sequel.
